Owen Wilson
Dallas, TX
November 18, 1968About
Born in Texas on November 18, 1968, Owen Wilson was a self-described wild child who was expelled from high school, went to military school, and then attended University of Texas at Austin but failed to ever earn a degree.
Wilson got his start in Hollywood as a writer. He cowrote the screenplay for Bottle Rocket with friend Wes Anderson, also starring in the film with his brother Luke.
Despite an odd attempt to become an action star, Wilson has focused on comedies, achieving monumental success with The Wedding Crashers, You, Me & Dupree, and the animated Cars.
A yearlong affair with Kate Hudson ended after drugs and depression dragged Wilson to attempt suicide in August 2007.
Wilson has two sons with ex-girlfriends.
