Benjamin Crump (born on October 10, 1969) is a 53-year-old Florida-based attorney known to represent wrongful death lawsuits. He fought for Police brutality victims, namely Trayvon Martin, George Floyd, and Ahmaud Arbery.

His mother, Helen Crump, used to do two shifts daily: one at a local converse factory and the second at a hotel. People do not know much about his biological father, although we learned that he attended South Plantation High School living with his stepfather, whom he considers his father.
In the late 80s, he completed his schooling and moved to Tallahassee, Florida, to study criminal justice at Florida State University. During his college days, Crump was an A-grade student. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the same University.

Crump first came into the limelight in 2002 after he decided to handle the case of Genie McMeans, an African-American driver who was murdered by a White state trooper named Kreshawn Walker-Vergenz. His next famous project became the death case of Martin Anderson, a 14-year-old who was beaten to death in a youth detention center in Florida.
Eventually, Crump made its mission to fight for the rights of Black people and raise voices against any injustice. Over the years, he represented many black victims, including Trayvon Martin, Antonio Zambrano-Montes, Terence Crutcher, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and Daunte Demetrius Wright.
In 2021 he was named one of the 100 most influential people around the world; two years later, St. Thomas University renamed their College after him. Ben has also appeared on TV a lot of times; in 2017, he started his TV journey with a show called “You the Jury” which aired on Fox.
